Bangaluru fieldwork

I had an amazingly productive week in Bangaluru at the beginning of January, discussing science diplomacy and global governance in synthetic biology and biobanking with natural and social scientists.

I am so grateful to Suryesh K Namdeo, PhD and everyone at the DST Centre for Policy Research – IISc Bangalore for their rich insights and fantastic questions. It was a real privilege to give a lecture at Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (DBT-inStem), and to learn about the important work Sabuj Bhattacharyya and Ketan Thorat, PhD are developing. Finally, a big thank you to Shambhavi Naik and everyone who contributed to the roundtable at The Takshashila Institution. By the way, for anyone who is interested in the Indian perspectives on regulatory issues, please check out their podcast All Things Policy (https://lnkd.in/ebQgFXQS).
