‘Augmented Agency’ at the End of April
At the time of writing, it’s already August. I have been on the road a lot since April. This also includes two extended travel with my parents to celebrate their respective 70th birthday π.
The ‘Augmented Agency β Augmented Fairness Forumβ was definitely a highlight of GSEJ’s event of 2022/23 (notice the symbol in the middle is the math symbol ‘in proportion to’). It took me a long time to organise this in-person 2-day event. But it was so rewarding: I met Stevie, Jim and Hannah in person for the first time, so grateful that Lubomira flew back from Geneva to give her talk and that Eben made a lightning trip to support the event (and overcoming the train delays!), colleagues in the School of Biosciences and SSPSSR were awesome as usual.

A review of the event can be found here, written by Agustin Sanchez Cotta, PhD candidate at the University of Cordoba (Spain): https://research.kent.ac.uk/global-science-and-epistemic-justice/news/?article=465
